Aimee joined the Parkland family in 2002 and has held several positions at the college during her tenure. In her current role as program manager, Aimee recruits and advises students for skilled trades and agriculture programs in the AgEST department and also promotes those programs. Her passion has always been event planning and this job has multiple opportunities throughout the year to coordinate large-scale recruiting events. Her favorite aspect of being program manager is helping students find the right resources and academic program for their specific needs that leads them to a rewarding career path.
Having grown up in a small town in southern Illinois, Aimee moved to Champaign in 2001 and loved the community right away. She found many ways to get involved in the community, support local businesses, and serve others. At Parkland, she enjoys serving as an EEO representative, co-founder of ParklandGives365, and Associate Vice President/Grievance Chair of the Professional Support Staff Union. Aimee was honored to win the Outstanding Staff Award in 2015.
