Theresa is a Professor of Horticulture and Greenhouse Manager. Teaching duties have included Introduction to Horticulture; Greenhouse Production; Herbaceous and Woody Plant Identification; Turfgrass Management; Pest Management; and Agriculture Computer Applications. Plant propagation is a hobby and interest she enjoys sharing in her Community Education workshops on Plant Propagation and Pruning.

Prior to coming to Parkland College, Theresa spent 16 years at the University of Illinois Greenhouse working with various horticulture and agronomy classes and researchers.

Theresa is a regular guest on local PBS television show Mid-American Gardener and has appeared on In the Garden, a segment on WCIA’s CI Living. She is Past-President of the Illinois Association of Community College Agriculture Instructors (IACCAI).
