As Parkland College’s chief student services officer, I'd like to tell you how this office supports your educational, career, and personal goals. Our commitment to students includes the following:

Below are some links and resources to help you understand Parkland's policies and services.
- Student Conduct Code. In the classroom, on campus, or in any officially sanctioned Parkland activities, students are expected to abide by the Student Conduct Code. The code is available at this link or a hard copy can be obtained from the Dean of Students, room A115.
- General information about financial aid, athletics, housing, student IDs, student employment, assessment, registration, and student life--click on these links to access the homepages of these departments.
- Policies that you may need to know about include: harassment/discrimination, computer use policy, grade appeal, student grievance, academic honesty, and academic standards.
- A counselor or advisor can be selected by clicking on either link. Students who have earned fewer than 30 hours of credit must be advised prior to enrollment.
- Contact the Dean of Students, damcdonald@parkland.edu or 217.351.2505, for help with extended absences due to illness or emergency.
