Born in Montreal, Canada, Wendy came to Parkland in 1999 to work as a full-time instructor of Pre-College ESL courses. For many years, Wendy has worked with international students both in and out of the classroom, and she has taken every opportunity to promote international education and global learning on Parkland’s campus. Wendy is currently taking a break from teaching and is serving as interim chair of the Humanities Department. 

Wendy enjoys learning about the diversity of languages and cultures. She likes to exercise, is an avid reader, and enjoys traveling to visit family. Her favorite quote is from Mark Twain: “Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.”
