  • to foster an environment that encourages personal and academic growth and facilitates independence;

Students With Disabilities Transferring from another College or University

Students registered with other colleges and plan to attend Parkland College (Online or On Campus) should be aware that they are required to register with Parkland College’s Office of Disability Services (DS) if academic adjustments and/or auxiliary aides are desired in Parkland courses. Parkland College is a separate institution with different policies and procedures. Accommodation letters from other colleges should not be presented to Parkland faculty as proof of eligibility for academic adjustments and/or auxiliary aides in Parkland courses (this includes online courses).

Students who require accommodations should follow these steps:
1. Send a copy of the diagnostic information to the Office of Disability Services.
  • Mail to: Parkland College, Office of Disability Services, Room U260, 2400 West Bradley Ave, Champaign, IL 61821 or
  • FAX to: 217/353-2305 or
  • Email to: disabilityservices@parkland.edu
2. Call the Office of Disability Services at 217/353-2338 and schedule an intake appointment.
