The Early School Leaver Program at Parkland College (ESLTP) prepares learners for job and college skills. During the FREE 8-week class session students complete a career portfolio, tour college campuses, and gain valuable life skills. Students are enrolled in both course work and career experience.
  • 8-9 hours of GED preparation
  • 5 hours of career class
  • 15 hours of career experience

To participate in the program students must receive a 9 on the TABE test and be enrolled in a GED or high school completion program.
The ESLTP is a program supported by the Illinois Community College Board and is free for out of school youth. The program focuses on career and college preparation.
