Police Officer Employment

The Parkland College department of Public Safety conducts tests annually for the position of police officer.

Applications are now being accepted through January 7, 2013 at 5:00 p.m.

A mandatory orientation for all applicants will be held on Friday January 11, 2013, at 6:00 PM in Room L-111. To gain admittance to the orientation you must bring your valid driver’s license. Although this orientation is only open to applicants, you may bring your spouse/significant other to the orientation as your guest.

The physical and written test will be offered on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. (no exceptions). You must attend the orientation to be eligible to take the tests. Please see the link below if you are not familiar with the physical abilities standards. The running portion of our test will take place outside.

Applicants must be 21 by the date of testing, January 12, 2013, to be eligible to test.
