A Support Program for Career/Occupational Students at Parkland College
The support services funded by the Perkins Grant are handled by the Career Programs Department at Parkland College, and may include the following:
Financial Assistance
Reimbursement of additional course fees and lab fees; purchase of class supplies, required tools, instructional materials, and uniforms.
Referrals to other Parkland services
Counseling, academic advising, career planning, disability services, financial aid, peer tutoring and many others
