Payment Options
Tuition and fees may be paid in person in the Business Office, room A108.
Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours during certain registration and payment periods. There is also a payment drop box outside the cashier window.
DEADLINES
- Your registration is complete when tuition and fees are paid.
- Balances must be paid in full before registration for the next semester will be allowed.
- Payment or arrangements must be made by the announced deadline (see Dates and Deadlines page) or your classes will be cancelled.
- Payment made by your company, the Department of Human Services, or an external agency must be authorized on your account in the Business Office before the deadline, or your classes will be cancelled.
- Students who register after the payment deadline will have fourteen calendar days after their
initial registration date to pay or make other
arrangements. Their schedules will be cancelled after the fourteen days if 50% payment has not been
received.
DEFERRED PAYMENT PLAN
- Students may choose to make tuition payments with little or no down payment
through one of several convenient budget plans. Apply early for more payment
options.
- Payments can be deducted automatically from your checking or savings
account (Automatic Bank Payment Option) or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, or
Discover) on a monthly schedule set up by Nelnet.
- Enroll online.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENT
- Payment may be made by VISA, MasterCard, and Discover.
- Payments may be made in person in the Business Office, room A108 or
- Payment may be made online at Parkland Connection. If you
can't remember your PIN (Personal Identification Number) or your PIN has been compromised, you may still pay online under MAIN MENU-select TUITION PAYMENT. Then enter social security number or student id number and birthdate.
RETURNED CHECK CHARGE
- If a check is returned to Parkland by the bank for any reason, a $15 service charge applies.
- If collection on a returned check must be made by a collection agency, there are additional
collection agency fees.
- In some instances, a returned check may result in cancellation of your registration.
