ABOUT PARKLAND READS

 

Parkland Reads/One Book, One College is about engaging with each other as a community over a commonly shared work of literature, by encouraging students, faculty, staff, and the public to read the same book and participate in discussions and campus events related to the work.

Statement of Purpose

Parkland Reads/One Book, One College is intended to foster academic and civic engagement throughout the Parkland community over a shared work of literature.

 

How Can YOU Participate?

Get the book:
Check it out at the Parkland Library or buy your own copy at the campus bookstore and receive 20% discount.

• Read:
  Join the students, faculty and staff in reading The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

• Discuss:
  Come to one of the discussion groups.

• Participate:
  Come to the readers' events scheduled throughout the Fall 2007 semester.

• See:

Curious Sightings on the web and in the Prospectus.

Credits
