One of the most renowned photographers of the 20th century, Ansel Adams is best known for his black-and-white photos of the American West. Craig McMonigal, instructor of photography and photography history at Parkland College, will guide you through the exhibition that encompasses more than 120 photos by Adams, some of which rarely, if ever, have been shown publicly. You’ll also find drawings, camera equipment, and personal items that belonged to the photographer in this unique exhibit.
Our bus trip includes free time, dining at the Rhythm Kitchen Music Cafe, and a brief stop in Bloomington for a guided tour of the Rural Documentary Collection Exhibition at University Galleries, Illinois State University.
