College for Kids is 35! Sign up for Session 2 by June 23

Two summer sessions of fun, learning for youth in grades 3-8

Parkland College's summer enrichment program for elementary and middle school students, College for Kids, is marking its 35th year of fun and exploration. Registration for summer 2015 is now underway.

College for Kids brochureResidents have until June 1 to sign up for the first of two sessions offered this year, which will be held June 16-26.

Parents and guardians have until June 23 to register their children for session two, which takes place July 7-17.

The popular two-week sessions, for youth entering grades 3-8, cover a variety of subjects including science, math, visual and performing arts, language arts, computer science, humanities, and technology. Students learn something new, explore interests, and discover new hobbies in a supervised and comfortable environment.

CFK classes meet Monday through Thursday from 12:15 to 2:15 p.m. and/or from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $135 per class.
