College for Kids Turns 35!

Two summer sessions of fun, learning; register starting May 4

Area students entering grades 3-8 are invited to participate in College for Kids, a summer enrichment program for elementary and middle school students sponsored by Parkland College. College for Kids registration opens May 4.

Now in it's 35th year, the program offers two-week courses that cover a variety of subjects including science, math, language arts, computer science, visual and performing arts, humanities, and technology. Students learn something new, explore interests, and discover new hobbies in a supervised and comfortable environment.

Two sessions of College for Kids will be offered this year: June 15-25 and July 6-16. CFK classes meet Monday through Thursday from 12:15 to 2:15 p.m. and/or 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $135 per class.College for Kids brochure

The registration deadline for Session 1 is June 1; for Session 2, the deadline is June 22. Interested persons may register online at www.parkland.edu/collegeforkids or may visit the Community Education office at 1315 N. Mattis Ave., Champaign. Online, in person and mail-in registrations are accepted. Sorry, phone or fax registrations are not accepted.
