Two Parkland College Art students have been accepted into the 2013 Illinois Community College Juried Exhibition, currently on display in the Visual Arts Gallery at Governors State University in University Park, Illinois, through March 2:
Benjamin Frazzetto of Champaign, for Untitled work
Kim Saeree of Urbana, for Skeleton Abstract
Works selected for the exhibit have been completed between August 2011 and late January 2013. More than $1,500 in awards, including a $500 Best in Show Award, will be presented during a closing reception on Saturday, March 2 at the gallery. The juror for the exhibit is Jessica Segal, gallery director for Union Street Gallery, a not for profit art center in Chicago Heights, Illinois.
