Business Training, Community Education to Host Leadership Series

Successful trainer Steven Welland guides the 14-course series

Area business owners, managers and supervisors are invited to take part in a leadership series hosted by Parkland College Business Training and Community Education.

Led by successful business owner and corporate trainer Steven Welland, the 14-course Parkland College Leadership Series will be offered January–December 2018 and is designed to build and develop the skills of extraordinary leadership.

Welland’s clients include Archer Daniels Midland, Caterpillar, DuPont, Kraft Foods, University of Illinois, U.S. Army CERL and Christie Clinic. During the series, he will provide experienced, high-energy training in such topics as Managing Your Communication Style, programs in Leadership, Time Mastery, Providing Constructive Feedback, Developing Others, and more.

A Leadership Mastery Certificate is available with the series. In order to qualify for the certificate, participants must complete a minimum of 44 hours (consisting of five required courses and at least 6 of 9 optional courses).
