Monday, September 11, 2017
A Parkland College faculty member recently won a grant to help local high school students work along with college students to create art for local display.

Associate Professor of Art and Design Joan Stolz received a City of Urbana Arts Grant to conduct a collaborative painting project with Parkland College students and Urbana High School students this fall. Works produced through the project will be displayed at the Art Coop and the Sipyard in Urbana.

Established in 2008, the Urbana Arts Grants Program makes funding available annually to artists, arts organizations, schools, and festival presenters for projects that enrich the lives of all Urbana residents and visitors.
