The Parkland Chamber Singers, Parkland Chorus, and Parkland Wind Ensemble will present a joint concert, “As All the Heavens Were a Bell,” on Sunday, March 10, at 3 p.m. at New Horizon United Methodist Church, 3002 W. Bloomington Road, Champaign. Admission is free and open to the public.
The Parkland Chamber Singers, conducted by Barbara Zachow with Kristina Engberg as accompanist, will perform
Salmo 150 by Ernani Aguiar and
Blazhen muzh from
Las Vísperas, Opus 37, No. 3 by Sergei Rachmaninoff.
Zachow also conducts the Parkland Chorus, with Sunny Choo as accompanist, which will perform
Anyway by Martina McBride, Brad Warren and Brett Warren, and
Shut De Do by Randy Stonehill, as well as other selections.
The Parkland Wind Ensemble, conducted by Verlin Richardson, will perform
Flourish and Hymn of Praise by Claude T. Smith (ASCAP) and
Fantasy on A Gaelic Hymnsong by David R. Holsinger (ASCAP).
All three ensembles will join to perform
