Busy adults can earn a bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from Millikin University by taking classes at the Parkland College campus, through a program called Professional Adult Comprehensive Education (PACE).
Find out more about Millikin's PACE program by attending an information session on Thursday, July 17, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Parkland's Parkhill Applied Technology Center, Rooms T106 and 107. Millikin is now accepting applications for a cohort to begin January 2015.
Organizational Leadership offered at Parkland College is a four-semester degree-completion program. Eligible students will have already completed the general education requirements at Parkland or other institutions, and will be ready to complete the final 48 credit hours through Millikin.
The information session will provide an overview of the PACE program and format. PACE program representatives will be available to discuss career path options and financial aid.
Millikin University in Decatur began offering accelerated evening courses in 2003 in response to a growing need for quality baccalaureate education for busy adults juggling families, careers, and community responsibilities. Millikin offers Elementary Education bachelor's degree and certification programs on the Parkland campus. Classes meet one night a week for five weeks. Millikin works closely with the Parkland Adult Re-entry Center to provide a smooth transition for area students into the programs.
