Thursday, December 5

Parkland Art Gallery Lounge
A $30 donation allows you to choose from among dozens of creative handmade cups donated by Parkland College
Ceramics program faculty and students as well as tasty desserts provided by Great Harvest Bread Company and coffee from Herriott’s Columbia Street Roastery. Tea will also be served. Guests will appreciate music by the Chip McNeill Jazz Trio while they visit the State of the Art 2013-2014: National Biennial Ceramics Invitational exhibit, curated by Delores Fortuna. This exhibit, which runs through February 1, features the work of eight artists from across the U.S. Many of these works will be available for sale during the event. To round out the evening’s festivities, there will also be a silent auction of both student and faculty ceramic work.
Tickets to the gallery benefit are available now; advance purchase is preferred. Cups will be chosen on a first come first serve basis. All proceeds will support Parkland Art Gallery programs. Tickets may be purchased in the Art Gallery; through the Fine and Applied Arts office in C120a; or through the Art Gallery office by calling 217/351-2485 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
