"Autumn Reflections" Joint Concert

Orchestra, Chamber Singers, Wind Ensemble to perform variety of selections in free concert 

Enjoy the music of "Autumn Reflections," a joint wind, choral, and orchestral concert, Sunday, Oct. 22 at 3 p.m. at Parkland College's Harold and Jean Miner Theatre.

The concert is free and open to the public.

The Parkland Chamber Singers, directed by Frank Gallo, will perform selections including Ani Ma'amin, a traditional Jewish song, arranged by Paul Caldwell and Sean Ivory; Agnus Dei by Andrew Miller; House of the Rising Sun, an American Folk song, arranged by Franklin Gallo; and Dreams of Thee by Eric William Barnum.

The Parkland Wind Ensemble, directed by Jonathan Beckett, will perform Jupiter by Gustav Holst; Marches of Mancini by Henry Mancini, arranged by John Higgins; Mexican Hat Dance, a traditional song of Mexico; and Parade of the Ewoks by John Williams. 

Rodney Mueller directs the Parkland Orchestra, which will perform Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss II; Hungarian March by Hector Berlioz; Lohengrin, Introduction to Act III by Richard Wagner; and Music from Guys and Dolls by Frank Loesser, arranged by Calvin Custer.
