Area residents can come out to Parkland College and voice their ideas about the future of transportation in the Champaign-Urbana area.
The Community Conversations Bus is touring C-U to collect input on “Sustainable Choices 2040,” the long range transportation plan that is guiding the area’s transportation system over the next 25 years. The bus will make a stop at Parkland on Wednesday, Sept. 25 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; it will be parked in the M6 parking lot on the north side of campus.
Visitors will be able to share their impressions of current transportation conditions and offer suggestions for developing area transportation in the future. The bus will also feature information about the long range transportation plan and provide free souvenirs to participants.
