B-A-D Baby Millionaire Seminar

Wed, Jan 30, 2013 starting at 7:00 PM - Thu, Jan 31, 2013 starting at 7:00 PM

Parents, grandparents get wealth-building tips to secure children's financial futures

How parents and grandparents can make children millionaires for as little as a dollar a day is the topic of an hourlong seminar at Parkland College Jan. 30 or 31.

“Buck-A-Day (BAD) Baby Millionaire” sessions are available 7–8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday at the Tony Noel Agricultural Technology Applications Center on the campus’s west side. Sponsored by Parkland’s Business and Agri-Industries department, the sessions are based on the series of successful “Teen Millionaire” workshops created by Will Marshall. Marshall will also lead the Buck-A-Day Baby Millionaire sessions; Marshall retired as a Fortune 500 corporate treasurer and has dedicated his retirement years to helping others understand personal financial management.

The sessions will explain the three things that parents can do for a dollar a day (for babies) or less than $2.60 (for children under 12 years) to provide their children/grandchildren with more flexibility and economic freedom (choice) later in life to meet life’s uncertainties, and the financial means to offset the higher U.S. taxes and inflation that they inherited from today’s over 25 generations.

To register for either session, please call Business and Agri-Industries at 217/351-2213. A $5/person fee is payable to Parkland at the door.
