Enjoy delicious food, fun auctions, and more at the Parkland College Foundation's 17th Annual Fall Gala fundraiser on Saturday, October 18, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Student Union.
Tapas (menu by Classic Events), cocktails, entertainment, and live and silent auctions will round out the evening.
Featured items on the auctions include the sword used by Russell Crowe in the movie Les Misérables
; "Fun Flights" with Parkland's Aviation institute; a chance to put your name or business logo on a plane; a U.S. flag that flew over the Capitol on September 11, 2014; and unique experience packages with Parkland faculty and staff.
Other auction items include a walk-on part in a Parkland Theatre production; personal stationery designed by Parkland students; Ebertfest passes, pearl jewelry, and art by local artists; and much more! Enjoy this opportunity to support Parkland College while experiencing its beautiful new Student Union.
Tickets to the event are $75 per person. Proceeds will fund Partners for Parkland, which provides scholarship assistance, secures vital resources for students and faculty, and enhances technology at the college.
