Local business and facility owners and operators, contractors, municipal representatives, manufacturers, and other professionals are invited to a free session on sustaining energy efficiency changes within their organizations.
Parkland College Business Training will offer sr4 Partners’ “The Path to Sustainable Change” workshop from 8 a.m. to noon on Thursday, April 25. The session will be held at the Business Training offices at 1315 N. Mattis Ave., Champaign, room J125.
With every change intention there are two groups: The “few” who appreciate and understand something new and different, and the many who must be led to adopt this change, must execute it, but may resist it. Participants in this workshop will discover how to use the Path to Sustainable Change to cross the “chasm of disconnect” between the few and the many. This session explains the four steps in creating sustainable change in energy efficiency, providing examples of each and offering practice in creating sustainable behavior change that can be translated into participants’ organizations.
The Chicago-based sr4 Partners industry management consulting firm specializes in culture change, organizational development, campaigns for change, training and development, community building, corporate wellness, research and capacity studies, asset-based models.
Registration is required for the free session, hosted by the Illinois Green Economy Network with support from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO). Space is limited. For more information or to register, please visit igencc.org/temt.
