Study Abroad

Parkland offers three types of study abroad.

1) Long and medium term programs endorsed by the Illinois Consortium for International Studies and Programs (ICISP) and provide Parkland College credit.

2) Short term career oriented programs through Community Colleges for International Development (CCID).

3) Global studies learning communities. These are Parkland courses that include a study abroad component. Taught by Parkland faculty, these are an excellent way to learn about another culture through firsthand experience.

Participant Eligibility
Student must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours, including ENG 101, with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75.
