The Parkland advantage
Our career programs are designed to give you a taste of a job you’re going to love, with hands-on training in uptodate labs, classrooms, and area clinics and hospitals. Parkland’s instructors are professionals in their fields, required to keep current in their knowledge. With our excellent reputation and connections to the health industry, our programs are fully accredited and will prepare you for transfer, licensing exams, or whatever you need to move ahead in your career.

Placement assistance
Parkland College’s Career Center, 217/351-2536, receives notification of local, state, and nationwide job openings in this field and assists students in developing job search skills.

Dual credit for high school students

High school students may be able to take some of these courses for both high school and college credit prior to graduating from high school. Check with your high school counselor for further information.

Financial aid
