The Nurse Assistant

Do you get great satisfaction assisting people in need? Are you patient, understanding, and comfortable following a routine? As a nurse assistant, you will care for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. You will tend to the daily needs of those confined to hospitals, residential care facilities, and their homes.

In nursing homes and other long-term care situations, you will often be the principal caregiver, having more contact with residents than other staff members and developing positive, caring relationships.
