The Registered Nurse
Skilled, compassionate, and responsible, registered nurses (RNs) care for the sick and injured and help people stay well.
The Licensed Practical Nurse
The practical nursing certificate can be completed in one year of full-time study, and all credits may be applied to the RN associate degree. If you are an LPN with at least one year's experience, Parkland's LPN to RN bridge program can help you get started on the associate degree. To see if you are ready to apply to the LPN program, complete this checklist.
