Dental radiography course for the beginner. The 2 day course includes radiation safety, aseptic technique as well as hands on experience exposing films on the manikin. June 24 and 25, 2005 at Parkland College, L 157 from 8 am -5pm. Please send check for $118 made out to Parkland College. Send to Mary Emmons, Parkland College, 2400 W. Bradley Ave. Champaign, Ill 61821. Include course title and number on check. (Registration will be completed on the first day of class.) Class capacity 8-10 persons.

Catalog Description

Course includes instruction on the art of exposing, processing, and mounting excellent radiographs. Bitewing radiographs and periapical radiographs will be taught to clinical competence. Paralleling technique emphasized. No prior experience necessary. 15 CEUs awarded.
