Map and District 505 Residency Qualifications

A resident of District 505 lives (in a permanent dwelling place, or domicile) within the green area of the map to the right for other than educational purposes and intends to remain in the district.
 
Applicants who provide evidence of district residency will qualify for Parkland's in-district tuition. Applicants who fit any of the nonresident descriptors below may be required to pay at out-of-district or out-of-state tuition rates. Note: A student's residency classification determines the rate at which he or she is assessed for tuition and fees. Therefore, one's residency status can severely impact one's financial capacity to attend college.  

Individuals are considered nonresidents who:
• Currently live outside district boundaries, or have lived outside district boundaries 30 days prior to initial registration;
• Are under 21 years of age and/or a graduate of an out-of-district high school;
• Are financially dependent on nonresident parents or guardians.
