The TRiO/Student Support Services Program (SSS)is funded by the U.S. Department of Education to provide academic support services for eligible students at Parkland College. This program is part of the family of TRIO programs which also includes Upward Bound, Talent Search and the McNair Program.

- Provide you with information and assistance with transferring to
a 4-year university or college;
- Provide you with cultural, educational and leadership
opportunities to enrich your college experience; and
- Help you graduate from Parkland College and/or transfer to a
four year college or university.

Assist you with meeting your GOALS.
- Graduation - TRiO/SSS will help eligible student graduate with a degree and/or transfer to a four-year college.
- Opportunity - TRiO/SSS provides the opportunity to explore college and career choices and create a college atmosphere that encourages the understanding of individual differences.
- Achievement - TRiO/SSS helps students achieve their academic goals through academic and personal development.
- Leadership - TRiO/SSS offers students the opportunity to develop their leadership skills by attending and presenting at conferences and workshops.
- Success - TRiO/SSS will help students succeed at Parkland and transfer to a four-year college.
