MEET OUR MARTHA
Hello, my name is Martha. I grew up in Champaign attending Central high school. After high school, I began working at the UofI, where I am currently employed full time. I live with my husband of 25 years and we have three daughters. The oldest is 24, with two degrees from the UofI College of business. Our middle daughter is attending Eastern University seeking a degree in special education with a minor in Spanish. The youngest daughter is 16, a sophomore in high school. Education has always been a top priority in our house, with this said I determined it was my turn to return to College. I am in my 3rd year attending Parkland College part time. My goal for the future is to teach GED or adult education classes. Providing students the opportunity for a second chance at a better education. After all, everyone deserves a second chance!
