Equipment Lending Program

To request a laptop, complete and submit form below

New policies have been put in place to reduce the number of laptops lost or stolen. We are now implementing a waiting period before you receive the requested laptop. During this wait period, Parkland's Public Safety will be conducting a backgroud check to confirm that you a valid local address and phone number and to ensure the safety of our equipment. Please allow at least 1 business day for your request to be processed.  We will contact you at the phone number given below when the laptop is ready for you to pick up.

Step 1 - Complete and submit request form.

  • Please note - all requests for laptops must be processed through Parkland Public Safety.

Step 2 - The TRiO/SSS Office will contact you at the phone number given below when the laptop is ready to be picked up.

  • If for some reason you are not eligible to borrow a laptop, all effort will be made to contact you.

Step 3 - Complete the Equipment Agreement form.

Step 4 - Return the laptop on the date specified on the Agreement form.

  • Every day the laptop is late, you will be billed a $50 late fee. If the computer is returned damaged, you will be billed for repairs as well as a $250 negligence fee. Late or damaged laptops will result in your borrowing privileges being suspended.
