Choosing a college that’s the right "fit" for you is a big decision. One of the best ways to truly know what a college has to offer is to visit the campus and take a good look around. Here are some ways to do just that:
 
Campus Tours: Join us for an individual campus tour.  Meet with an admissions advisor to discuss your major and then tour the campus.  Campus Tours are available Monday through Friday during the academic year from 8 to 4 pm. by appointment only.  Call 217/351-2482 to set up an appointment with an advisor. 
 
Campus Visit Dates:  Come for an overview of Parkland Admissions, financial aid information, details about our programs and general tour of the campus on the following days for the Spring 2012 semester.  Call 217/353-2002 for reservations or more information.

College Wide Open House:
Join us Friday, March 9 from 12:30-2:30 in the College Center for the Picture Yourself@Parkland event.  
Visitors will be able to speak with college representatives at a wide variety of informational booths, including college admissions, financial aid, academic majors, student life, counseling and advising, student academic support, and more. High school students, high school counselors, and parents of college-bound students are especially encouraged to attend.
 
Engineering Science and Technologies Open House:
Mark your calendar for Friday, October 12 for the 2012 EST Open House.  Call David Anderson at 217/373-3838 or email at danderson for more information.
 
Computer Science and Information Technology Open House:
CSIT Department is having its annual high school open house "Tour IT" on October 19, 2012. The open house is open to sophomores and juniors interested in Computer Science. It is also open to seniors planning to attend Parkland College.  Call Jonas Dees at 217/351-2414 or email jdees@parkland.edu for more information.
 
 
Have a large group wanting to visit Parkland?  With at least 2 weeks advance notice, we are happy to accommodate tours for larger groups; call 217/351-2509 for details.
