Art 162 - Art History II
Art History II continues to explore the history of art in western
and non-western cultures. Beginning with the precursors of the Renaissance
students will examine the changes that take place in art from the
Renaissance to the 20th Century. The class will explore the social
and political influences during these periods and their effects
on the history of art. Through group discussions, writing assignments,
and slide lectures we will cover the history, issues, styles and
conceptual aspects of art.
