ASSET students that reside in Illinois but outside of Parkland College District 505 are considered "Out of District", however, he/she will pay in-district fees. ASSET students that reside in a state other than Illinois are considered "Out of State" students, however, he/she will not be charged the full Out-of-State rate. See Program Cost.

ASSET applicants will receive a letter from the EST Program Manager to inform the applicant of the dedicated date and time for assessment testing and SOARS orientation. If the applicant is not available to take the assessment tests and SOARS orientation on the dedicated date they should contact the Assessment Center and schedule a date and time for testing.
