Our
Program
At Parkland, we respond to new technological developments and new specialties
within it by continually updating our courses and programs. For example, you’ll
study analog and digital control systems, microcontrollers, programmable logic
controllers (PLCs), and process control systems. Our approach to learning is
hands-on and includes lab work, course projects, and internship opportunities.
Length of study
The degree requires 62 semester hours, which takes around two years of full-time
study to complete. You can complete the program on a part-time basis as well.
You can also choose to take a shorter certificate program that requires two
semesters of full-time study.
Entry requirements
High school graduation or equivalent is required.
