Entry-level training program
This program will enable you to enter the construction industry in two primary areas:
• New home construction
• Repair and remodeling of existing buildings
You will acquire the skills you’ll need for entry-level employment with single- and multi-family builders and at existing structures in need of repair or remodeling sites.

Your hands-on classroom and work experiences will include framing, trim carpentry, electrical wiring, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, and concrete and masonry. In addition, you will also learn how to read plans and become familiar with construction materials.

Length of study
Designed for both full- and part-time students, this program can be completed in two semesters of full-time study, or longer if on a part-time basis.

No specific course work is required for enrollment in this program.
