Consequences of Drug Conviction While Receiving Federal Student Aid
If you have been convicted of possessing or selling illegal drugs you may not be eligible to receive federal student aid. You may be able to regain your eligibility by:
- Completing an acceptable drug rehabilitation program or
- Passing two unannounced drug tests administered by an acceptable drug rehabilitation program
Even if you are not eligible for federal student aid, you may still be eligible for aid from your state or college.
