TRIO / Student Support Services

TRiO / Student Support Services provides support services to individuals who are traditionally under-represented in post-secondary education. TRiO/SSS is a federally funded program open to first-generation college students, students with demonstrated financial need, or students with demonstrated academic need. TRiO/SSS offers academic/career/personal development workshops, tutoring, mentoring, college visits, financial aid assistance, cultural and social activities, and an equipment lending program. The support services provided in this program are designed to help program participants maximize their effectiveness as students as they progress toward graduation and/or transferring to a four year university.
