Program Notes
• This is a selective admissions program — you must be admitted into the program before taking VTT courses. Students must assess into ENG 101, college-level reading (83 or above on COMPASS), and MAT 095. Students with veterinary care work experience will receive extra consideration. See a counselor/advisor or the health professions recruiter to advise you through the application process.
• All students are required to take the rabies pre-exposure vaccination. The approximate cost of the vaccine series is $500-$600.
• Credit/no-credit options are not available for VTT and BIO courses. Students must maintain a 2.0 minimum GPA and a C or higher in all VTT courses. Students taking BIO 121 and BIO 122 before being admitted to the program will be required to take BIO 160 and BIO 161. Students needing to take BIO 121, BIO 122, or BIO 123 must have already completed high school or college chemistry.
