Associate in Arts (A.A.)
Minimum graduation requirement — 60 semester hours
Students are strongly encouraged to complete an Asso-ciate in Arts or Associate in Science degree prior to transfer. To transfer as a junior into a baccalaureate speech communication program, students must complete a minimum of 60 semester credit hours. Students are encouraged to check the four-year institution of their choice for any additional requirements for B.A. or B.S. First- and second-year students who plan to major in speech communication are encouraged to fulfill general education requirements. Most of the major coursework should be taken at the upper-division and university level.
