Engineering Science and Technologies (EST) develops certificate and degree programs that respond to technological advances and new engineering specialties. Its hands-on approach to learning includes lab work, course projects, and internship opportunities. Career programs in EST prepare students for jobs in technical fields such as automotive collision repair, electronics, industrial technology, and more. EST students also work on a drag racing car and pulling tractors, which they enter in competitive events.

Students interested in the construction field will benefit from new off-campus classroom space developed in conjunction with area trade unions. EST has many partnerships with area industry and job placement is very high for graduates in construction and other technical fields.

The Associate of Science in Engineering Science degree (A.E.S.) includes foundational courses in calculus, physics, chemistry, English, computer programming, and liberal arts along with technical electives based on engineering field of interest. Students are prepared for transfer to a college or university and can complete a bachelor’s degree in one of 16 engineering specializations.
