Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.)
Minimum graduation requirement — 63 semester hours
The Microcomputer Support Specialist degree prepares students for entry-level careers such as technical support staff, software support staff, or application trainers. This can transfer to EIU and SIU as a 2+2 program.
Program Notes*
•
All CIS programs require assessment in keyboarding
ability, or students are required to take at least a one-credit hour
course in keyboarding by end of the second
semester.
•
Students planning to transfer to EIU or SIU should take MAT 108.
•
CTC substitutions may be accepted for CIS 134, CIS 135,
CIS 138, CIS 151, and CIS 152 — see department chair.
