Minimum graduation requirement — 33 semester hours
The Microcomputer Certificate Program prepares the student to do some programming and to use applications software on microcomputers.
Program Notes*
•
All CIS programs require assessment in keyboarding
ability, or students are required to take at least a one-credit hour
course in keyboarding by end of the second
semester.
•
At least 20 hours must be taken from CIS, CSC, or CTC
courses.
•
CTC substitutions may be accepted for CIS 134, CIS
138, CIS 151, and CIS 152 — see department chair.
