Minimum graduation requirement — 66 semester hours
The Programming — Database Management degree prepares students for entry-level careers in computer programming and database development and administration. Modern computer programming languages, operating system environments, computer applications, and systems design as well as database theory and applications, structured query language (SQL), PL/SQL, and the architecture of the widely popular Oracle database are studied. Graduates may work as programming trainees, database application developers, or database administrators. This can transfer to EIU, SIU, ISU, and UIS as a 2+2 program.
