Extended / Off Campus Learning

Parkland promotes opportunities for convenient learning by offering a variety of courses in communities throughout District 505. Courses follow established course outlines, maintain high standards of instruction, and are equivalent to classes offered on Parkland’s campus. Noncredit workshops and classes, GED test preparation, and adult basic education classes are also offered at communities throughout the district.

The number of courses offered in each community depends on local interest and enrollments. Most courses offered at Parkland’s Champaign campus may also be offered off- campus if there is sufficient student interest.
