Grade Exclusion

Students who have changed from a transfer program to an occupational program or from one occupational program to another occupational program (A.A.S. degree and occupational certificate) may request that F and D grades earned in credit hours not required in the new program be excluded from the computation of their cumulative grade point average in the new program. These courses must have been required in the previous program and not required in the new occupational program. This policy does not apply to persons changing from one transfer major to another transfer major or from an occupational program to a transfer program. The written appeal requesting exclusion of certain course work should be submitted to the registrar in the Office of Admissions and Records (A167).
