Academic Dismissal

Any student, previously suspended, who reenters the college and does not achieve a minimum 1.75 semester grade point average while on probation will be dismissed for not less than one calendar year. While on academic dismissal, the student may not register for any courses.

Written notification will be sent to academically dismissed students explaining the duration and conditions of dismissal and reinstatement procedures.

Only the dean of academic services may clear a student’s record for registration activities prior to the end of the dismissal period.
