Inspection Pre-license Course
The instructors,
Charles M. Bellefontaine and Corey Friedman are experienced
home inspectors and well-respected ASHI (American Society of Home
Inspectors) members. Both have extensive teaching experience and
are recognized instructors in the state of Illinois. In addition,
they have lectured throughout the country and are acknowledged by
numerous national organizations as leaders in the industry.
Charles
M. Bellefontaine - A leader in the home inspection field since
1991. He personally completed over 3,000 Home Inspections ranging
from Executive Homes to Public Housing Units of the CHA. He has
been interviewed and quoted by reporters of the Sun Times, Tribune,
and the Daily Southtown. Charles is active in the American Society
of Home Inspectors (ASHI) both on the Local and National levels.
Charles is a past president of the Illinois Society of Professional
Home Inspectors, Board of Director of the Northern Illinois Chapter
of ASHI, and numerous other leadership positions in the home inspector
field. Charles is also a city firefighter for the past 20 years,
and as such has a great deal of interest in safety conditions in
the home.
Corey
Friedman - As a well-respected home inspector since 1988, he
established Greater Chicago Home Inspections located in Northbrook,
IL. His extensive background in construction dates back to 1981
as a builder and general contractor. Corey achieved the highest
level of a supervisory licensed electrician in 1987. He has been
an active member of the American Society of Home Inspectors since
1993. He is a leader in the local Northern Illinois Chapter of ASHI.
Corey is also a member of the National Fire Protection Agency, International
Association of Electrical Inspectors, International Association
of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, American Indoor Air Quality
Council, and the Architectural Engineering Institute. His technical
expertise is a valued bonus that students use consistently as a
reference to any unusual situation.
