Our Program
This is a high-tech career — with
mapping technologies, aerial photography, and satellite imagery. The technician
needs to be prepared to understand the latest computer programs as well
as the scientific basics of natural life. Parkland's program offers excellence
in GIS and math courses, along with cutting-edge computer science. Plus,
our dedication to serving the agricultural and other local businesses and
industry helps students apply what they learn beyond the classroom.
Length of study
The program has been
designed for both full-time and part-time students. It can be completed
in a year of full-time study, longer on a part-time basis.
Entry requirements
High school graduation or equivalent is required.
